PLANT (Providing Lifesaving Access to Nutrition and Transportation)
This vital program provides quality nutrition (groceries, locally grown produce, lifesaving nutrition supplements such as Ensure/Boost, vitamins/mineral supplements, feeding tube & other medical equipment) and can provide delivery directly to the patient. The PLANT program also provides patients with safe and reliable medical transportation and/or gas assistance to ensure they get to all necessary healthcare appointments and have equal access to healthcare providers.
The overall goal of the PLANT Program is to help improve the health and well-being of patients on their cancer journey while maximizing positive healthcare outcomes. The program prioritizes assistance for seniors, low-income households, and patients from rural communities. This essential support allows patients to focus on their healing.
