Experienced caregivers of cancer patients are trained to give one on one support and encouragement to people who are currently providing caregiving services to a loved one on their cancer journey. This program is the only program of its kind in all of CNY & NNY for cancer patient caregivers.
Our Caregiving Mentor Program offers two types of mentoring, auxiliary and traditional. Auxiliary mentoring consists of occasional check-ins from the mentor or messages of encouragement. Traditional mentoring offers more consistent check-ins and on-going communication from the mentor.
